This will be the first year I've really paid much attention after the first couple of rounds, because my cousin (GJ Kinne, QB from Tulsa) is expected to go pretty late. He's gotten a ton of calls, but the Jets have shown the most interest. They sent him for a physical last week and called him this morning and asked "What airport will you be flying out of after we draft you this weekend?" Denver showed pretty strong interest as well, which would be awesome, since he could learn from Manning. I'm pretty excited for him!

Good luck to him! I don't see him going too terribly late though. LULZ @ The Jets attitude of "anyone but Sanchez"

thats pretty cool...What rounds does he think he'll get selected?

GJ Kinne reminded me of Dan LeFevour as for pocket presence and escaping the rush. Whatever happen to Paul Smith, he use to ball at Tulsa.

            Why did Kinne leave UT?

              some article from 2008.

TULSA, Okla. -- University of Texas quarterback G.J. Kinne says he's transferring to the University of Tulsa.

Kinne is a redshirt freshman and will have three years of eligibility after sitting out the coming season.

He was a two-time Class 3-A offensive player of the year in Texas. He was fourth on the Longhorns' depth chart behind Colt McCoy, John Chiles and Sherrod Harris.

Kinne, 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, passed for 11,695 yards and 130 touchdowns in four high school seasons, second in Texas high school history.

"We're extremely excited to have a player of G.J.'s caliber," Tulsa coach Todd Graham said. "He has been a winner his whole life. For a player of his caliber to transfer to Tulsa speaks volumes about our program and where we're are at this point. He had a lot of big-time scholarship offers out of high school."

Kinne's father is a high school coach who was a teammate of Graham. TU assistant Brent Graham was once a defensive coordinator on the father's staff.
I just did a google on Paul Smith, he's a Financial Adviser / CFL football player.

I hope the Cowboys dont draft Barron. Great player, just not a true FS imo.

If we didnt have Sensabuagh, i'd be fine with Barron.

Give me Descastro or Fletcher Cox.

He never would have had a hance to play due to McCoy. I would have bailed too.

If the Cowboys don't take De Castro or a great DE, this is a busted draft.

My brother ran into Brad Childress at lunch about a week ago, and he claimed that T-Rich was CLE's guy if they stay at 4. It would be nice to have a legit #1 running back for the first time since 1999.

                        1999? don't you mean 1986?

IMO, they can't go wrong with Barron, DeCastro or Cox. I also like Gilmore, Upshaw and C,Jones. However, they will probably go defense even if DeCastro is available. The boys got a great chance to score a good player without having to move up which I hope they don't unless something bizarre happens. Hopefully they don't pick Poe or Brockers just to fill a need.

I hope we can draft Justin Blackmon at #6 but if he isn't there then I can settle for Malcolm Floyd. I hope Cleveland continues their past and make bad decisions. This isn't the Justin Blackmon your looking for.
