Yeah that was a few days after he was cut. I haven't heard anything since haha.

He was only good when he had a speed, thats been gone for a while... he'll probably collect one last check before he retires.

Roy pissed me off so bad, yeah he stunk at coverage, but was still a good Strong Safety.

After Kelly Rowland dumped him, he "found god" and decided to stop doing what he's good at... which is knocking people out.

My dad still has a Roy Williams jersey he'll wear time to time, i'll just laugh and shake my head when i see him in it.

              • Story from Pro Football Talk

Cowboys’ Jenkins wants a contract extension

The Cowboys just paid top dollar to sign cornerback Brandon Carr in free agency, and now Dallas’ other starting corner may be feeling a bit slighted.

Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reports that the agent for Mike Jenkins, Drew Rosenhaus, has approached the Cowboys about a contract extension for his client. No financial details have been exchanged, but “there is hope” that a long-term deal can be reached.

Jenkins, 27, has shown a willingness to play through injury as a Cowboy, although recurring shoulder problems have oftentimes rendered him ineffective. Jenkins is a highly skilled corner with playmaking ability when healthy, however.

Still, a deal may be tough to consummate from the Cowboys’ perspective if Jenkins wants a deal like Carr’s.

Jenkins is due a $1.052 million base salary entering the final season of his rookie deal.

I think that is a great addition. I just didn't think, that is where he was going to land. I think the 49ers have done some good work this offseason building the offense.

yea, and they improved their running game as well. They could use some WR's though. Mike Wallace is still out there

                        • Rams have signed Torry Holt to a one year deal, but to only retire as a Ram. Holt hasn't played since tearing his knee at trainning camp in 2010. I don't know if he will make the hall of fame, but from 1999-2007 he was one of the best receivers in the NFL.

                          NFL Records

Consecutive seasons with at least 1,300 yards receiving (6).
Consecutive seasons with 90+ receptions (6).
Torry Holt along with Marvin Harrison are the only receivers with two 1,600 yard receiving seasons.

Reached 10,000 (116 games) and 11,000 (130 games) career receiving yards faster than any other player
Super Bowl rookie record for receptions (7) and receiving yards (109) in 1999
Top 10 in career receiving yards.

yea its going to be hard, but i honestly think he is more deserving than Terrell Owens. Holt was good from the word go.

Maybe, but I have to think Isaac Bruce is more deserving and will take some of the shine off of him.
