Peyton Hillis to the Chiefs, that's a nice pickup if he can stay healthy.

Would have loved for Dallas to be in a position to sign him. I can't believe Houston let him get away.

Dallas will never have the cap space to pick up someone that big again. The days of Jerry just opening his wallet and signing Deion, or whoever the latest and greatest is over. He isn't savy enough to make the money work to pick up guys like that.

As far as Houston goes, what basis did they have to keep him? It was obvious he wasn't necessary last year.

I was commenting on it, saying it was a nice pickup. I missed some of those on the past page.

I should have quoted the post. Get off my nuts!

It's about having the best defensive front in the NFL. Why not keep him? Indy is rebuilding, Houston is clearly at the top of the division without a single game played. Why not make an honest run at the SB? A guy like Williams isn't hurting them any. It would be one thing if he had off the field issues. He's a solid player.

The NFL is a copy cat league. Last year, it was all about the Giants and their defensive front. Next year it will be about something totally different. If Houston thinks they are better off with a group of quality players rather than one superstar, let them try.

My question for Mario is, why Buffalo? No one wants to be in Buffalo.

Because Buffalo was willing to pay him way more than anyone else. There were other teams interested, but Buffalo pretty much said we'll pay you whatever it takes to get you on our team. They took the best offer from another team, beat it, and then threw on the "I don't want to play in Buffalo" tax.

I'm still pissed about them letting Fiametta become a UFA too. Cowboys have a running game for the first time in a decade, and it's all because of the FB. He's due $1.26, so they let him go? Are you fucking kidding me?
He was good but I think there was more to his little ear concussion head thing...

Maybe he will be a third down back and get the goal line carries as well, when Charles is healthy.

Here is the deal with Mario:

                                1) It was all about the money for Mario. Why else would he have signed with Buffalo.

                                2) Buffalo was moving back to a 4-3 where Mario is comfortable

                                3) Houston could have franchised him and it would have cost them 22 million. He isn't even the best defensive player on the Texans roster much less the best player on the team.

                                4) Our young guys stepped in a took care of business when Mario was on the sidelines all buy himself not being a team player....He new he was gone then and I don't think he wanted to be in Houston anymore.

                                5) I hope Buffalo likes paying him to sit on the bench. In the last 2 years he has missed 14 games. He won't be missed in Houston.
