At least Carr has been improving every year so far

I said consistent.
Routt had a few down years, and at his 8th year, he's only worth a 2-3 year deal. I think the Cowboys were looking for a more long term solution, and Carr being only in his 5th year gives them room to offer a 5 year deal.
I'm not saying that Carr is that much better than Routt, but I think Carr has more potential to improve, and has improved every year for the last four years.

They are trying to get that LB from Carolina, who was a Penn State grad that played with Lee. Unless that deal is already done and I missed it.
To me, this means they are going to do the following. They pick 14th, and if that guard is still there, they will take him. However, whoever picks 9th is also interested, and likely will nab him first. If the Cowboys can get him, great. If not, I see them taking either a WR or DE in the first. In no particular order, first three rounds will be WR, DE, DB. Unless of course, the guard is still there. In which case, they will pick G, WR, DE.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
