RG3 is going to be a bust.
I dont think he is going to be a bust at all. I think that Washington spent WAY to much to move up 4 spots

Go ahead and name 2 other QBs with the same style of play as RG3 that have been successful...

I don't know why teams continue to fall for this.

The thing with Griffin is that he is actually very accurate. Im assuming the style you are refering to is run first throw later style. He doesnt really play that way from what I have seen, people just assume so because he is fast.

                Thank you Washington.

Why are you blaming Washington? YOUR team is the one that agreed to all this douchebaggery in the first place. If you're going to be mad, be mad at the Saint Louis Rams front office.

? I dont think he is mad. He stated earlier in the thread that he was happy about the way it turned out. The Rams have no need for a QB and will probably get the same player at 6 that they were going to take at 2. Along with 3 more picks over the next 2 years.

He had a few very good games at the beginning of the season and then he regressed. Hopefully he can stay consistent the entire season in 2012, the guy is a beast of an athlete.

RG3 is not worth the amount of draft choices Washington gave up. They couldve picked up another QB and saved those picks to add more talent to an already decent roster.

I dont know if Cleveland might've made a better deal, but I think what Washington gave us is still a great trade. We have the flexibilty to draft young talented players and fill the holes that we have in the team. Then again we can use them for more trades in future drafts.

What style of play? Methinks you didn't watch him play much this season; he did very little running when he wasn't in imminent danger of being sacked. Lots of time in the pocket, lots of passing from the pocket, and almost stubbornly unwilling to take off on the run. Your point is made, but it's an antiquated view of his play.

                            I said successful... Not mediocre.

Fuck no I didn't watch him. Who in the hell watches Baylor football? One season of standing in the pocket does NOT mean my view of his play is antiquated. lol. We will see who is right in a few years. I'll place a wager now if you like. Bust city.

He only played two other seasons OF college ball, so i'd say the one season DOES weigh fairly heavily. And your view of his play isn't antiquated, it's entirely FORMED upon conjecture-city, as per your own admission.

How can you comment on his style of play if you havent ever seen him play? isn't his style based on him playing?

As stated, he actually matured a lot this year. He can throw very well from the pocket, as his numbers indicate. I'm routing for him to do well.
