That move was dumb when the Rangers made it, it's dumb today, and it's going to be dumb at the end of the season. I think it's the first time that Daniels has really put a foot wrong since the John Danks trade. I just don't see why the Rangers thought they needed him.

I don't think it's really going to be consequential to the Rangers' season, but I don't think he's going to pan out at all. Big waste of money even if he does a passable job.

had a good inning the other day. I'm optimistic that last season was a fluke. We'll see on all of them, but nathan is the one who i have the least confidence in. Hopefully he proves us wrong, but if not, there's always feliz (who i don't think will/can br a starter for awhile).
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

At least that trade was in the heat of a pennant race and got ride of some other dead weight. And as mentioned above, he had a decent (if inconsequential) outing the other night.

I don't want to be a negative nancy here, but I foresee Feldman taking Feliz's spot in the rotation at some point these season. I guess we'll learn a lot tomorrow night.

              I'm anticipating it as well.

              • Well not the first start I had hoped for our boy Darvish but he showed great competitiveness and grit getting himself re-composed. That is something that CJ was NEVER good at.

Also according to ESPN sources are saying the Rangers and Kinsler have reached a 5 year 75 million dollar deal

                • I thought kinsler cut off talks until the off-season. I guess money does talk! I'm happy!

                  • That dude is a retard for saying Darvish is a bust after 1 game. Sure, he got off to a rocky start. Anyone one would if it were their first major league start. He regained his composure and did fairly well for his debut. What were you expecting, a Cliff Lee like performance?? He'll get better as the season progresses.

                    • Man, was I glad to see Moreland get a hit! The Rangers need a stick at first base, and since the Palmeiro/Will Clark era, it's been a little thin there.

Darvish showed a little something when he came back out for the second inning. It DOES make a difference when the batters you face are 4 inches taller and 40lbs heavier than what you're used to seeing...they tend to knock the shit out of the ball. LOL!

                        • one inning does not decide a players fate.

He did go back out and take down 8 straight batters. He settled down and did his job. Now he just has to do his job from pitch 1 in his next start.

Correction, it was 10 batters in a row.

Fox 4 was saying he dissed the fans by not tipping his hat when Ron pulled him in the 6th. They then said he didn't know it was a custom to do so.
