I cant help but giggle at the fact that after all the money they spent, the Angles are probably not going to make the playoffs. Holy shit they have had a bad August!

I guess CJ is falling back to earth...I was looking at some box scores from over the weekend and on Sat, the Angels had an 8-0 lead and then CJ gave up a 7 run inning all by himself and the bullpen finished blowing the game. It feels good to know a former Ranger is "helping" the Angels. He's 9-9 on the year with a 3.6x ERA. I believe that ERA was in the mid 2s before he imploded against the Rangers 2 weeks ago. Weaver and Greinke were also hammered over the weekend in a 4 game sweep against the Rays. I believe they are finally sunk. Must suck after being oh so close to being within 2 games of the Rangers a couple weeks ago.Last edited by mustang_marc; 08-21-2012, 07:26 AM.

One great game out of 120 average to piss poor games doesn't sway my opinion. I'm a stats man, jack. Just look at 'em. Would you just look at 'em, Tony? How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?
