Those are the Rangers I have missed watching since before the All-Star break. I was beginning to think after the 2nd Pujols homerun how tired I am watching them. I hope they get rid of Nathan in the offseason. I do not find him dependable at all. It is so misleading to see a win for Nathan.

When Cruz hit that homerun, I threw my hands up and said "YES". And when Andrus had that full count. I said if he doesn't do it, this would be a good time for Josh to come alive.

This year is going to be a finger nail biting season. Cause the whole division has their number right now. Weaver has faced the Rangers at least 3 times and pretty much owns them. A's Hardin is the same. Pujols has four homeruns in 2 games. He is heating up big time. The guy was batting .215 back in June I think and he is at .284 now. It's like he is stealing Hamilton's average lol. I hope this game is enough to start a hot streak, cause we need one right now. Just wish we could get some more effort from the pitching staff. I don't expect any pitching staff to be successful against the Angels anyways.

Speaking of Josh...Warsh moved him to the 5 hole a few games back and he went 4 for 10. He moved him back to the 3 spot lat night and he went 0-5 with a couple of strikeouts and didn't even get the ball out of the infield. I know you'd like to see Josh at the plate in the first inning, but if keeping him in the 5 spot for a while can help him get in a groove, by all means do it!

Great game last night and a HUGE win for Texas...hopefully this kickstarts them a little. I am looking foward to watching Dempster tonight. I am glad Oswalt was demoted. He has looked terrible. A fastball that barely hits 90 and his mechanics look all jacked up. I dont see him being much help for the Rangers down the stretch. I thought Hamilton broke out of his slump two nights ago but there he goes again flailing away at everything. I don't know what the deal with Nathan is. He had a rough start to the season but pitched very well for two months. Then Wash used him for 2 innings and 40 pitches a few weeks ago and he hasn't been the same since.

They were just welcoming him to the American League! His first inning already raised his ERA!
