The ball was hit to Darvish. Went to throw the ball to second to set up a DP. Andrus went to the bag, Kinsler backed him up. Darvish threw the ball to Kinsler BEHIND the bag resulting in no outs. It went to shit from there. After that Kinsler blew his DP chance resulting in 2 runs.

Team showing signs of life here late in the game. Good defense there by Cruz and Napoli, and the bats have been a little better in the second half of the game.

They're not a bad team, but they've been playing like one. The good news is that it leaves some hope for them to turn this thing around and pull it together down the stretch. The bad news is that they've completely erased their margin for error at this point.
