I guess you don't read my posts' that often. I said I wish he would come around a little, not to run his ass off. I'm a Moreland fan. With his wrist injury and subsequent surgery, it's understandable that he's a little behind. I want him to hit enough where the Rangers are confident enough in him to keep him in the line-up. Defensively, I think he's a good 1st baseman.

If he's gone up and down from the minor's and it's the end of the season, then I may start thinking "Chris Davis". But he's not a kid by any stretch (26), so it's in his best interest to pick it up a little.

It's a young season so far, but he's hitting over .300 in the early going.

He's batting .351 through 10 games with 4 2B and a HR and 4 rbi. 8Ks in 37ABs.

He let it get a little hairy and the defense pulled him out of it.

Beltre's error didn't help him out any. But him walking the first batter is frustrating, especially since that run scored (like most walks seem to do)

I was pumped to watch this game tonight. My kid fucked his knee up in his game Monday, and is probably done for the season, so this meant I could stay home and watch instead of taking him to practice. As it turns out, I've got to go to practice anyway and start prepping another catcher. Sonofa....

I would never pass up a Ranger game to miss my kids playing. DVR's are made for a reason.
