I still think Napoli and Young are one of the differences on this team from last season. Napoli's 100 points off from last season, and Young is about 50 off. If they get hot, and hit in the clutch like they did last year, the Rangers will score a ton of runs.

Motherfucker needs to start dipping again. I get that you want to be healthy and whatnot, but that's not a change you make in the middle of the season in the middle of a hot streak. I guess it might not be the definitive reason for his slump, but I think it seems to be awfully well correlated.

Also, what's Nelly's deal? How on earth is he leading the team in 3 hit games? He's either lighting it up or completely worthless. I hate to be rash, but I don't know that he's worth re-signing after next year if he's this so-so next season.

Agree on Hamilton. We know how fragile his psyche is. And yes, I DO think something as simple as changing a habit can have an effect on him at the plate. The late game the night before, he was 0-3, then singled late in the in his last at-bat. He goes 1-5 yesterday, while guys that have been struggling are tearing the cover off the ball! Something's up with him. He almost looks like he doesn't give a damn. He's also making the Ranger's management look like geniuses' for not signing him earlier this year.
