    No shit!?! You said you'd love to see him get on a hot streak. Doesn't 3 for 4 sound like it could be the start of a nice hot streak?

    And I'm pretty sure that Murphy could've scored in the ninth, but taking a chance on it would've been stupid.

      3 for 4 in one game is not a streak. It is a game.

      Yes. It is a start however, but he has not kept a streak up all year. I can not help but think of all the times he had great chances for RBI's and came up VERY short.(KO'S). Perhaps I just keep thinking the "secondhalf year" Napoli would come up.


      A career .260 hitter. 2011 was a career best year.

      I still have very little faith in him as he comes to an at-bat. Better than other catcher choices I do admit....

                          Is it possible that this team doesn't suck and that it's actually moderately impressive that they're still in first place in spite of injuries to pitchers and several key offensive players that just haven't gotten it together yet? I know optimism isn't particularly welcomed in here (although the pessimism is much preferred to the dick sucking that goes on in Cowboys threads), but this team has the potential to do some serious damage if some combination of Napoli, Hamilton, and Cruz decides to start hitting.

                            If they play the way they did to start the year, they are damn near unbeatable. I just wish they would resume playing that way and get everyone healthy again.

                              I still have little faith in Napoli as a hitter. Thats just my opinion. A series against his former team does not help that feeling. I will admit this, I hated him as an Angel. Perhaps that is clouding my view of him.

                              I think he had a great second half last year. Career year. He had a strong postseason and would have won MVP for world series had Cruz actually played that ball properly.

                              As a Ranger fan, I would love to see him get on a great hot streak.

                                Nice to see the offense puttin up some runs. Hopefully Napoli can use this series as a turning point
