I've probably been one of the biggest Ash haters, and I think McCoy should have been the starter the whole year. With that being said, he was a TRUE FUCKING FRESHMAN! Texas will be much improved this year, mark it down. Fozzy will sign as a free agent with an NFL team, that's how close this team was to breaking it open and another 10-win season if it weren't for EVERY running back worth a shit getting hurt.

Saying they're a .500 or sub-.500 team is just nuts. Most teams are trying to rebuild for next year. The only team I'm worried about is Oklahoma. They're not losing much from this last year.

Landry Jones has looked like a lost puppy without Ryan Broyles. If he can play like the old Landry this season and get some chemistry with the other players OU should be fine. The defense will look totally different though, mainly the outside of the defense. New DE's, OLB's and a CB spot. I think Tony Jefferson is moving to full time safety.

Like hotrod66stand said, he was a true freshman, not a RS freshman. What did you expect out of him? He started the year 4th on the depth chart and learning only certain packages of plays to becoming the starter and trying to learn all the plays. Not only that, he didn't get any summer 7on7 work and barely any fall work in.

Hell, you could tell he improved from the Kstate game to the bowl game. He needs to work on getting the ball out sooner on his deep routes for sure. It sounds like he has a QB coach working with him right now before spring ball gets going.

So, maybe with spring ball, 7on7 and a full fall maybe he'll get better, just maybe.

I do find it puzzling that some people talk about Ash like last year was a good as he can be and couldn't possibly get any better.

Ash and Case will be irrelevant because you know Mack will play Swoopes next season as true freshmen in 2013

God I hope not. I hope Swoopes and Brewer get to redshirt
