I can see Cowher going to a team that has talent and that only needs a few pieces. One team that stands out is Houston. Kubiak is probably going to be fire cause they arent going to make the playoffs and all the expectations that Houston was suppost to do this year and the start that they had.

If Kubiak gets fired he is coming to Denver along with Elway.

Otherwise Cowher to Denver!!! I can hope at least.

Half a season as an interim coach makes for a helluva great interview opportunity. If Garrett keeps them playing hard like the did against the Saints (despite being down 17 to 0) then I can't see how Jerry doesn't pick him. The only problem there is the equal opportunity BS that the Cowboys have to go through by interviewing a black candidate. I think everyone knows that Jerry can work around that little bump..

As for Cowher. I agree that Denver is a really good possibility but he really seems like a family guy that wants to be in Carolina. The question for me is whether the Panthers cheapskate owner will pony up the cash to get him.

I would LOVE to see Cowher come to Dallas.

Since kay has passed and his daughters are on their own now (I think), it wouldn't surprise me if he coached somewhere other than carolina, where I orignall thought he would go several years ago.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

He made a comment the other day, something along the lines of "I will think about coming back and coaching if it's the right situation, even though I'm not sure what that right situation is". I took that as he is a bit lost right now with the direction his life is going after the loss of his wife earlier in the year. He is a great coach and seems to be a really good person, so I hope he can find something that fits good for him as well as something he can also enjoy.

I'll trade my Romo jersey for a Kitna jersey RIGHT NOW !!!

I like Romo, but if Kitna keeps playing well we could have a controversy, hell I hope we do.

I really like the fact that Kitna gets fired up. He is happy as shit when things go well and is pissed the fuck off when they dont. I think every person who is suppossedly competitive should have that same fire.

It has been proven time and time again, when there is 2 good QB's on 1 team, 1 of the QB's will play ridiculously well due to the fact of having the pressure of getting pulled in favor of the other if they don't perform and lead the team to wins. Case in point, when the 49ers brought in Steve Young, Joe Montana was rejuvenated and led the team to win the next 2 SB's.

Kitna has been an avergae starter throughout his career, but I will say he is playing well but he has never had this type of talent around him before. Dallas did the right move a few years ago with trading to get Kitna. You always need to have a reliable backup

I agree... what about a team like San Diego? They have under-achieved big time this year.
