With the controversial hand raised....he won. Anything that has to do with smashing a face in...absolutely not.

My point is, Diazs' statement was a bit ridiculous....thats it. GSP has made a career at playing off the defensive and letting guys make the wrong move. I feel GSP would, had Diaz won, pose the same frustrating issues to his style. You don't have to stand still etc etc. And 1 takedown through 3 rounds, in most cases, isn't going to weigh the outcome in your favor. I was yelling to Diaz to stop advancing! I hoped that he would have forced Condit to advance and make it a fight but to no avail. I could give 2 shits about either of them really.

Despite what the board trolls may lead you to believe, I'm not unreasonable. Just because I said Condit didn't win, they automatically assume that I thought Diaz did win it.

Diaz pushed for a brawl, Condit ran and picked his shots. That gets Condit a win on the scorecards. He won a sporting contest, but did not beat Diaz in a fight because there wasn't a fight to be had. Condit played it safe, Diaz failed to cut the ring off. The only way to beat a smart fighter, is to play smart too. He should have taken Condit down, scored some points himself when he realized that Condit wasn't there to fight.

i just dont think he would have been able to finish him, he hit him with some tough shots and just wasn't dumb enough to try to stand and trade.diaz should have tried a different approach after that.
