I've never smoked the stuff before, but it's my understanding that it severely dulls the senses, reflexes and the mind as well. I would think that wouldn't be high on the list of drugs to take for someone going to fight. As I said, I don't have any first hand experience with the stuff to know for certain if it could help or not.

He's most likely looking at a one year suspension at this point since he's a repeat offender. I bet GSP is excited as hell about that. That will give him plenty of time to recover and rehab his knee.

It's not a valid "excuse" but both Nick and Nate (Nick more than Nate) suffer some social anxiety issues. Talked to a Ceasar Gracie guy at the worlds last year and he was telling me how Nick is one of the nicest most humble guys at the gym but when thrust into the spotlight his "thug" act comes out as a defense mechanism.

He uses weed to self medicate (all my opinion here forward) as it helps him to calm those nerves and hell, he likes it. I personally am a fan and enjoy his fights so I hope he comes back. I had him winning rounds 1 and 5 with round 2 being a toss up. I can see the decision being controversial no matter who won.

Condit will not match up as well with Georges as well as Nick, but you cannot argue Condit does not deserve a shot.
