I think it would be excellent if he retired in the middle of the SB. That way they can hold a press conference with the 2 reporters that aren't at the game, and still take up more air time.

Well that stinks, I was looking forward to see him playing for another team, and going to one more SB. He had a good run. I just hope that little shit eli doesn't win sunday. He is no where near the QB his brother is.

Thread title fail. Article clearly states "liklely" and "probably", not "is".

That said, everyone said the same thing about Priest Holmes and he came back and played for awhile before deciding he did what he set out to do.

I think it would be funny if he announced it to steal a little of the spotlight from his less-talented brother immediately following his second Super Bowl win.

Don't get me wrong, I hope New England wins, but it would be hilarious if no-talent Eli ended up with more rings than 4 time MVP Peyton.

It's just like Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer winning their Super Bowls, mainly because of great defensive play.

Peyton seems to think that he's going to play next year.

I wouldn't be surpised to see him return, no matter what the doctors say. He's one determined dude.

I hope he plays and gives a Rick Vaughn speech to Irsay.
