I bet alot of owners will pay him regardless.
If i'm an owner, I want to win. Can you win with Peyton in his current shape. I don't think so. Who has a line good enough to keep him protected and needs a glass sword QB?

YOu are going off speculations that he really is hurt to the extent described. None of us really know how hurt he really is. The stiffness can easily be attributed to the after affects of surgery.

Whatever team contemplates signing him should look over all his scans and get multiple opinions before offering him a deal.

You are absolutely correct, but as an owner. I wouldn't devote time/energy/money into potentially chancing a season on Peyton.

And don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of him, I just think his career is over.

Well, if you're a team like SF, who just went to a championship game with Alex Smith, you always have the quarterback that got you there last season as your backup.

I am a fan too. I would rather see him hang it up for his well-being. If he is going to play, he has some good options out there.

The Saints did pretty good with Bree's. He might be worth the gamble for the 69'rs. Especially considering their division.

I think smith is a decent enough qb with a little more time under his belt. But I guess you can put peyton into rotation.

Jerry should bring him to Dallas. He'll win us a Superbowl even with the horrendous defense we have (he did this his entire career at Indy).

Remember spinal neck issues are hereditary within his family. His older brother was a WR at Ole Miss and had to quit football his freshman year because of a spinal chord neck problem. He, too, was one hit away from a severe injury and had to have surgery that left him unable to walk for several months.
I fully expect Peyton to retire.

if you were a premium triple A+ QB, would you want to be a backup?

                          He should be Brady's backup.

It's not like hell even get a chance to play.

Healthy, he still has a few years left in him, I hope he goes to the Cards, or someone that can appreciate him.

He will go to the Cards bring them to a Super Bowl and retire like Warner did, or another scenario would be to go to Denver as strange as it sounds since they have the money, and get some receivers and train old Tebow. Keep the hype going.
