He should retire from playing, and find himself a QB coach somewhere....or find a way to be a journeyman QB coach....help out all the teams whose QBs are in need of help....

he would be dead after two games with the cowboys o-line.

Alex Smith sucks, too bad Manning can't last another year or two as he could really help the Niner's! It's just too big of a risk for him health wise.

If he is released, draft picks mean nothing. He is a free agent. I don't see how that matters.

It's not like hell even get a chance to play.
Please don't jinx the Patriots. I think you are forgetting about Brady's '08 season. Every NFL QB is one bad hit away from a season or career ending injury ala Joe Theismann. And with Peyton still having serious neurological deficit (after 2 surgeries) affecting his tricep, we'll find out just how much of an idiot he is if he chooses to continue playing.

Looks like Peyton was cleared to play by his doctors. I'm interested to see if the colts will still cut him.

Peyton Manning has been medically cleared by two doctors, including Dr. Robert Watkins, who performed the most recent surgery on the Indianapolis Colts quarterback's neck, to resume his NFL career, sources told Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter of ESPN.

He's already been cleared to play.

Why take the chance on getting seriously hurt?

"Peyton has not passed our physical nor has he been cleared to play for The Indianapolis Colts. Team statement coming on Friday," Irsay posted on his Twitter feed early Friday morning.

The simmering spat between Peyton Manning and Colts owner Jim Irsay bubbled up Thursday night, when Manning's surgeon sent out a statement saying the star QB had been cleared to play.

Further evidence that the Colts plan to release him? Either way, I'm sick and tired of this story now. It seems to change every day.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?
