2012 Draft Predictions...

I know the season isn't even over, but the Cowboy's season is. So ya'll got any early predictions of who Dallas will take in the 1st round? We will be picking somewhere between 11th and 16th I believe.

My early guesses:

Dre Kirkpatrick CB Alabama
Nick Perry DE USC
Luke Kuechly LB BC
Alfonzo Dennard CB Nebraska

if they were smart, they'd trade their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round draft picks to Green Bay and try to pick up Matt Flynn and drop Romo to the fucking curb...

(Flynn is either in his last year or 2nd to last year on his current contract)

If he can do what he did today (granted it was against Detroit) with a fucked up O line and a not so healthy running game, imagine what he could do in the Big D....

Yeah, let's give up our first 2 picks on a guy that's had one good start. This is actually stupid enough that Jerry would do it.

QB is not our problem. Romo didn't get burnt 6-9 times tonight, our secondary did. If we don't pick up 3-4 DBs this year either through the draft or FA, then we're fucked.

Flynn just had one of those days against a bad defense.

They need to take 4 to 5 defensive backs and a center that can hike the ball in a shotgun offense.

I would like to see Dallas pick up a solid cornerback. IMO Dallas doesn't have a shut down corner. I thought Flynn was a FA this offseason.

The defense needs to be overhauled....this years draft and free agency, the Cows should be focused on improving the defense. But this whole situation has on problem.....Jerry Jones. Until he realizes he needs a football guy at GM the Cowboys will always be handicapped. Unfortunately J.J. will never admit/realize he needs to hire someone so he can step back out of the limelight, thus the Cows will proceed forward with such futility.

I believe this is the year JJ takes a back seat. His old lady was on his ass during the Arizona game and you could tell he was uncomfortable as hell. Hes accomplished everything he wanted with the purchase of the Dallas Cowboys.
The defense has major problems, they need to address this during the off season. This can be done in the draft and FA. We had some injuires during the year on offense, once we get Murray back the running game is back on track. and that will make us more balanced on offense.

He will be a FA after this season, but Jerry Jones will not try to acquire him. That would make too much logical sense. Romo fans across the world would be devastated if Jerry brought in a quarterback that had youth and talent. I mean really, let's look at the recent back up quarterbacks they've had on roster, John Kitna, Steven McGee, and Brad Johnson. Kitna did alright last year purely from a passing standpoint, but he has zero mobility and he's 39 years old. I don't expect he'll be back with the Cowboys for what would be his 15th year in the league.
