AJ Allmendinger will replace Kurt Busch in the #22 at Penske Racing. Allmendinger was released from Richard Petty Motorsports #43. Earlier in the week Best Buy who has sponsered the 43 the last few years is moving to Roush Racing. David Ragan is now rumored to possibly replace Allmendinger in the 43, as well as Kurt Busch.

2 younger guys in the Penske stable, now that should be interesting to watch. Good to see Dinger get a solid ride after the rough and bumpy journey he had during his time with what use to be the most widely known garage in Nascar in Richard Petty Motorsports.

I agree, in his rookie year with Red Bull Racing he struggled but I think it was expected being that he was from open wheel racing. Since then he has gotten better and better. I didnt understand why Red Bull Racing released Allmendinger for Scott Speed. He's been carrying the banner for RPM for the last 2 years. I think he is the next first time winner in the Cup Series, and it probably wont be on a road course.

Can't say I didn't see it coming with the rumors about Kurt possibly replacing him.

yea, but probably worked out well for Allmendinger. This is more like an upgrade.

I think they still will, i read a report on jayski that had RPM getting a mustang to run in the Nationwide Series. However I will go a step farther, RPM will close its doors in 3-5 years.
