Should Tony Romo be fired?

I disagree. Ill use the Patriots as an example. Pats have no defense horrible pass rush, mediocre receivers, no running game. How did they do so well in the season? Brady can put it anywhere. Brady makes that team. Same with the Packers. A good QB can make a team, with little or no help. Romo has had all the weapons in the world, and a great defense for awhile. What gives? I used to believe in Romo, but lately he is just faltering. He isn't a leader. He doesn't light a fire under his teams ass. Nothing is meshing and hasn't since his first half-season.

The Patriots didn't beat a single team with a winning record until the Ravens in the AFC Championship. They beat up on a bunch of mediocre teams all season, and squeaked by the Ravens' weak offense on a missed 30 yard field goal.

Do you think romo would put up the same numbers if he played in the 70's or 80's?

I have been on the fence about Romo forever. I think he is a solid A- quarterback. He does a lot of good things at times, has broken cowboys records and all that jazz. BUT, if he were traded or cut does anybody think he would fare any better on another team? I really don't think so. Really good doesn't equal great. I think upper brass is scared of going through the qb-less quincy carter days again.

I think so. He's not going to make or break a team, he's definitely not great, but he's good enough to win a championship with solid support around him. He needs a better defense, better offensive line, and better coaching, though.

I don't think Brady, Brees, Rodgers, a healthy Peyton Manning, or any other quarterback playing this season could have won a Super Bowl with any of the teams Romo's been a part of. Maybe the 13-3 season, but even then, they got knocked out by the same wildcard team that ruined the Patriots' perfect season.
