I'm sure Drew Bledsoe still has a few NFL leading stats somewhere, and I'd start him over Romo any day of the week. At least Bledsoe didn't just have a shit eating smirk after the game and say "Yeah well what can I say we lost the game, nothing we can do about it now" and act like he really doesn't give a fuck. He's almost as bad as Wade Phillips and the "Awe schucks" reactions when shit is hitting the fan and/or the game is on the line and they fail to seal the deal. Just fyi, getting in the Pro Bowl doesn't mean jack shit either, just look at Aaron Rodgers, he didn't make it to the Pro Bowl last year but had a phenomenal year and lead the team to a Super Bowl victory. "Come-on, man!"
I am not saying that Romo is an elite QB, but when you compare him to guys like Vick, or Orton, or Cutler, or even Rivers, he aint that bad. Do I also need to point out that he is one tough SOB? Busted ribs and he was still out there playing, can't say the same for a guy like Mike Vick.

He has to act like that, if he comes off the field pissed, then he looks like a sore loser and gets all kinds of media attention. Do you remember the flak he got earlier this year when he shrugged off Jerry Jones?

Sure, he's made some really great plays over the years, and he's has some phenomenal games, but overall, to me, he's just a really good backup that was in the right place at the right time. If he was that good he wouldn't have sat on the bench for nearly 3 years behind Vinny Testaverde and Drew Bledsoe. And yes, I think Bledsoe would have been fine if not for Tony Sparano being the offensive play caller behind then offensive coordinator Jason Garrett in 2006.
Guys like Stafford, Bradford, Ryan, Vick, Kolb, Gabbert, Sanchez, Newton, etc. Personally I don't think any of them are better than Romo with the exception of Matt Ryan.

I blame jerry..
why? he is the gm and therefore he chooses his coaching staff.. red jesus should never have been a head coach for the cowboys. its not even the head coaches fault... they are just jj's puppets! they do whatever the fuck he tells them to do and jj probably has his own playbook and makes them run those plays!
romo is just fine.. sure he makes mistakes... but he also takes a lot of chances that end up with great turnouts.. weigh out your options.. If he was conservative he probably never would make a mistake"PSH!!!"

Ben and Skin suggested we bring in a closer coach for the 4th quarter HAHA.
Jason Garrett reminds me of the coach in The Waterboy when the 4th quarter comes around.Originally posted by 03trubluGTYour opinion is what sucks.
