  • Should Jason Garrett be fired?

I hope so, time for a change. His play calling and lack of professional knowlege of basic football rules are clear as day.

Coaches are just figureheads. The off and defensive coordinators are where the decisions are made.

                No.

During his tenure, the team has had a lead in the fourth quarter of ALL BUT ONE GAME. It's a fucking disgrace that the team (coaches and players) have left him with a 12-9 record.

Even with just a 57% WL record, he is the best coach the Cowboys have had in a VERY long time.

He does need to pick up the clock management, the secondary, and the creative play calling though. I give him one more year for sure, and I really don't have a problem seeing his four-year contract through. It's not like anyone else has done better around here. We all know the Cowboys biggest problem. Romo, lol.

Jerry Jones needs to fire himself from the team. The man obviously can't see that he is the problem. I have heard he is a great guy to be around but he needs to stop with his bullshit.

As long as Jerry is still the GM, it doesn't matter who you put in that slot.

This. And the reason Jimmy isn't the Belichick of the Cowboys.

His bigshotism is pathetic. It's so bad that he will not step down as GM until he has run the organization into the ground and is ready to sell the Cowboys, following suit to fellow shitbird Tom Hicks as he did with the Rangers 2 years ago. Even though he knows the organization would run better with a tried and true GM, he has too much pride, too much arrogance, and is too much of a control freak to let it happen.

And JG is the OC. Always has been, and always will be a big fat failure as an OC. If he refuses to let go of the reigns and bring in a real OC, then he has to go. He's as bad about refusal to accept responsibility, admit mistakes, and let go of control as Jerry Jones is. I'm afraid if he doesn't change that, it's going to be a long, pitiful, painful drought.

He can't manage the clock. He makes poor decisions repeatedly. He won't say when he screws up. And he's as dry as Betty White's twat. I could get over his dumbass robotic non replies if he could fix the rest and win.

Danny - just the other day you were saying he singlehandidky lost that game. Now it's the team giving up on him? Pick a side and stick with it, dude.
There's plenty of blame to go around. He's far from the only problem. I'd rather see Ryan take charge.

Yes, he needs to go, or at bare minimum he needs to stop calling the plays. Rob Ryan is a problem too, he tries to get too cute on the defense and we are getting burned.
