Ward plays tough. Sometimes it's a little dirty, but it's not nearly as frequent. It's also not as flagrently excessive. There's a difference between someone who plays tough, and crosses the line on occasion. And someone who goes out there to play cheap, every chance he gets.

It was McCoy this time, but the point is that this is a frequent thing to happen. Repeat offenders are supposed to be punished, look at what they did to Sue. What Sue did was dirtier, i'll admit that all day, but Harrison has been doing this for years before Sue was even in the NFL. With very little punishment. You think Harrison cares about a fine? He makes it back in a couple games.

          1. He didn't hit him on the chin.
          2. At what point does a QB cease being a QB and become a runner? That question has not been answered. If you intentionally throw the ball away outside of the pocket and don't get called for grounding (so long as the ball crosses the line), why are you still completely protected when you're out of the pocket? Maybe I should say partially protected because it seems that these rules just don't apply to some players.
What the fuck are you talking about? Are we even watching the same play? I am honestly wondering, because:

          1. Yes he did.
          2. McCoy completed the pass, what is that intentional grounding bullshit you're talking about?

Clearly you're thinking of some other play because so far you have not correctly described the sequence of events. Here, watch it again.

Geof, even Tomlin admitted it was a dirty hit.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I still stand by my belief that if a QB is out of the pocket and appears to be running, he's fair game. If that isn't the case, than Saxson should have been flagged on his hit to Roethlisberger.

dude....it's not that he hit McCoy, it's how he hit him thats getting everyone in a tizzy.... if he had lowered his shoulder and speared him to the ground, then it wouldn't have been called, imho. it's the helmet to helmet shit that's pissing everyone off....

Also the fact that he keeps doing it over and over.
