I think the whole team needs to just get in better physical shape and we'll be able to defend the championship better

I don't know how many of you watched the game, but OKC handed that game to Dallas. They had no rotation on offense and played 1 on 1 ball the entire second half. I don't think we have seen OKC's best game, but it is still a good win for Dallas.
What was Odoms stat line?

Hopefully there's no let up for the Mavs tomorrow night.99 Mustang Project JSTA2V

I watched almost the entire game for the first time this season.
Things I took away from it:
Dirk is starting to get in shape
Terry still has the 3 in the 4th
Mahinmi is going to be a beast. I love his hustle and he has great hands.
Carter is enjoying himself. A happy carter is a good Carter for us. He may be enough to fill the Butler hole.
Still on the fence with West.
Odom looks to be getting back in shape.
I wish we had Gortot. That was impressive last night
Nash has lost his skills.
If this team stays motivated, and keeps progressing, they have a great shot at taking the West. They are deeper than I realized at first. They almost have 2 starting lineups.

It guys in the telecast were funny, talking about how much they liked Gortat and how much they wished the Mavs had been able to sign him and Orlando hadn't matched their offer last year...then quickly backtracked and talked their selves out of it by saying if they signed Gortat, then they wouldn't have gotten Chandler...and thus the NBA title.Last edited by mustang_marc; 01-05-2012, 09:57 AM.

I think Carter is at the point of his career where he will do what it takes to win the championship. That the pressure isnt on him like it was in Orlando. Most guys like Allen Iverson in the past would complain and cause a rift because of being moved from the starter to the bench. Carter hasn't. I dont think he is effective as a starter, but he can be for 20 mins off the bench.Los Angeles Rams 11-5
