  • Vikings make it official, release McNabb

Not a Vikings fan but thought this was interesting. Seems like Mcnabb is slowly being pushed out...maybe the Texans will pick him up although I think he wants to go to the Bears.

Amazing how fast he has fallen in the last two years in the NFL. Went from probably a Top 10 QB after his last year in a Eagles uniform to probably not even in the Top 20-25.

He was never a top 10. You don't have to fall far to suck when you were only average to begin with. If I was the bears I would just start Hanie.

I knew his career was done when Philly traded him within the division. You dont do that unless you know the guy isnt a threat any longer.

Yeah they were talking about him being a good backup seeing as Kitna is getting old and currently having back pains.

Im thinking Chicago will put a waiver request for McNabb to help at the QB position with Culter likely out for the rest of the regular season and possibly the postseason.

God I hope we don't get him. I'm pretty comfortable with McGee as the back-up honestly.

Hahaha... McNabb went through waivers with NOBODY claiming him. Not the Bears, not the Texans, not the Cowboys (thank God), nobody!!

We should send him to the Steelers.

Who "we"? He's no longer with a team.

No one is going to pickup McRib for a starting job, he will be asked to be a backup.
