The one where the players played like shit for 60 minutes. How you can blame that loss 100% on him is beyond me. That game shouldn't have even been close.

They played well enough to win the game at the end of the 4th quarter. When that gets screwed up by a coach, you have to put the blame on him.

Obviously it would have been great if they played better and it didn't come down to that. So you can blame all of them for playing half-assed and not being ahead by 10+ points. You can certainly blame Garrett for the actual loss, though. All he had to do was nothing, and he fucked that up.

We all get what you're saying, but Garrett is the reason they didn't end that mess of an outing with a win. The Boys have played damn ugly this season, so you can't expect too much more from them, sadly.

All that said, they are capable of looking great at random times, and I hope that's what we see in the next few games and if they make the playoffs. It ain't over yet!

What pisses me off most this morning is Jason Garrett refusing to take blame for anything. He throws out his excuse about wanting to give special teams time to setup, then the 1000 excuses about why he didnt let Romo try a couple more plays to get closer but never once have I heard him say "I screwed up, my bad". Rob Ryan has no problems taking the blame and then doing something about it. Garrett just seems smug, like he thinks he is smarter than everyone with his silver spoon education.

I could better accept Garrett’s deficiencies if he would cut the generic coach speak that he uses to speak around problems and own up to his mistakes. He is, by default, singularly responsible for managing the game. Sure Romo could help – but Romo has proven time and time again to be an idiot when it comes to situational awareness – he is anything but a field general. So it is incumbent upon Garrett to do all the thinking for the offense. This team, more so than most, can’t afford for the head coach to make the Jr. High mistakes that were made yesterday.

But that said, he fucked up, and had he admitted it we'd be talking about the Giants game already. Which, Garrett tried to redirect to several times in his press conference to get the fire out from under his ass, and on to someone else's. That was a punk bitch move. Garrett needs to go.
