I hope they do win it all. It's rare in this age of salary caps to have teams that are that dominant. Besides, I'm sick of seeing Mercury Morris gloat.

This game is a perfect example of why I can't be a cowboys fan, too much mediocrity. I don't know how they keep fans with a performance like this. Horrible play on both sides of the ball and stupid coaching. All that talent and they can't even use their timeouts appropriately. Embarrassing.

LOL, what the fuck ever. You make it sound like the Cowboys are this bastion of talent. Sorry, they aren't. They finally have a decent run game, they are medium-level talent at every other position and weak as death in the secondary. Coach carrot fucked it up today.
Stick to Plymouths, Danny. Football isn't your strong suit.

Sounds like you need to find a bandwagon to jump on. The point of being a fan is to cheer for your team through the good and the bad. Makes the good years that much better when you stuck with em through the shitty ones.

Garrett said the reason for calling the timeout was because they say the clock at 0:06 and saw the special teams still trying to get set up. He wanted to give them enough time to get ready.

Where did I say they were? They are a far better team than AZ though.

As for my ego, meh. I'm not so stupid I blame a coach for a loss when the place kicker missed two field goals, and the entire team failed to execute the entire 60 minutes.

I saw a team get 1 & 10 with 25 seconds left and 2 time outs, elect to run the clock down, spike it and line up to kick a anything but gimme 48 yard field goal BECAUSE the head coach was scared they might get a ‘negative’ play. Jimmy used to say “you don’t play with scared money.” Garrett’s gutless play calling at the end cost the Cowboys a win.

They executed at the same level they've executed all year, which is spotty. Their games this year have been marginal wins or marginal losses, with one primo ass whipping by the Eagles. Play calling has been an issue all year, do you want me to dig up your old posts stating the exact same thing? And wouldn't the bolded part be a coaching failure?

No, I just enjoy the sport and it is simply entertainment for me on a lazy Sunday. When you throw the talent out there and lose, you are not very entertaining. Especially for what the players make, I see it in Bryant's ears on the sidelines (bling), but not when he drops half his passes. I will never be a fan of mediocrity.

I know what I've said. Garrett's play calling sucks dick, and that goes back before he was ever a HC. I've never said otherwise. I'm saying this loss isn't 100% on him. It's on the team. Plenty of blame to go around, and that dumbass timeout is the least of their concerns, as fucking moronic as it was.

Totally agree. Garret plays not to lose instead of playing to win. I seem to recall two times this year when there was roughly a minute on the clock...possibly with a timeout left, and Garret chooses to kneel it and take it to the locker room for half time....thats playing not to lose.

And that was a topic of discussion during one of the pregame shows – how Garrett’s play calling becomes overly conservative on the road. Ultimately the Cowboys need a dedicated coordinator/play caller to better manage the game. It’s obviously not Garrett’s strong suit.
