edit: out for the rest of the season, Lineart said its his collarbone and he is likely done.

Be glad. I'd rather have Yates.

Yeah. Surgery later this week, and good-bye season. What an over-rated hack this guy is. A true Heisman bust...

Texans are working out Jake Delhomme and Jeff Garcia.
          From PFT

The Texans want to kick Jeff Garcia’s tires for a second straight week, but they are looking at other alternatives to sign to their roster.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports that Garcia and Jake Delhomme will both work out for the Texans on Tuesday. McCLain says that one of them should sign.

The plan is to start rookie T.J. Yates, with either Garcia or Delhomme competing with Kellen Clemens to be the backup.

There was talk in Houston Monday that the team may sign Sage Rosenfels if he was released by the Dolphins. That doesn’t appear likely to happen now, based on McClain’s report.

delhomme was a good QB but he never recovered after throwing 5 INT's in the home divisional round playoff game against the Cardinals in 2008.

Looks like Miami released him and he was picked up by Minn. I guess they needed another back up since they let McRibb go

Yates looked good, Andre came out and said it was his other leg, and that it didn't feel anything near as bad as the last injury, so who knows. A win is a win, and the falcons were a good test.
