Lmao at the conspiracy theorist claiming Garrett was throwing games as OC. That is the funniest shit I have heard in awhile. From what I was watching, their defense was stopping much of anything either, but under your logic that means Wade Phillips was throwing games because he was tired of being under Jerry Jones' thumb. LMGDAO!

Spencers failure really has been the trickle down affect.
Spencer was big in the beginning of the season, was he not? If I'm not mistaken, he got hurt and still isn't 100%.
And yes, a true safety would help. We need a real, ball hawk safety. I've been saying this for 3+ seasons. You look at a D like Baltimore, Pittsburgh, etc, and the main difference is Dallas' lack of a ball hawking safety. Ball is a 3rd string DB playing safety. Not gonna work.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist in the least. Must be thinking of someone else, but he's a Bills fan.
How else do you explain re overnight change in play calling? Did you watch any of the games prior to Wade's firing? If you did, you surely know it. What's funny to me, I'm not the only one that thinks this. Tons of non Cowboys fans think the exact same thing. One of them is on this board, and texted me today with the same theory!Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Of course I've watched the games. I was watching every single one of them for the sailing of the failboat for the first half of the season and have continued to watch them as they've succeeded these last few games. It's honestly a theory that doesn't hold water, period, as in "no proof". Play calling as an OC is certainly different than calling as the HC I would imagine. For all we know Jerry Jones was pulling the strings on the plays being called this whole time, and don't tell me that you don't think there could be any truth to that if you believe Garrett was intentionally not trying to call plays that he believed would move the ball down the field and get into scoring position.

The problem with that, is that if Jerry was calling them then, he is still calling him now. I don't believe that to be the case. Garrett knew he was next in line, he knew Wade would ultimately take the fall for the losing, so why not call shitty plays to speed up the process of him becoming HC?
It's more than a coincidence that the three plays that consisted of 60-70% of his play calling seems to have disappeared in to thin air. It's more than a coincidence that he no longer calls the same play consecutively.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

The biggest change for the Cowboys since Wade’s firing is on the defensive side of the ball. Much less blitzing. Wade was all about pressures and sacks leaving the corners to get toasted in man. Now the Boys are playing coverage, much more zone, less pressure BUT more opportunities for turnovers. This is key because the Cowboys are +6 in turnovers in the 4 games under Garrett. In the last 4 games they’ve lost the turnover battle once… the Saints game. Hmmm. Isn’t it’s funny how much easier it is to call a game when your not playing from behind or when your defense is giving you a short field or when your defense and special teams are scoring touchdowns.

I'm not saying you are that type of person, but the fact remains I don't know you, nor I have ever met you. If you still lived in the area it would be a little easier to overlook the other two facts, but again, I have had multiple bets that were never satisfied by the losing party so I remain a bit gun shy on who I can trust and who I can't.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
