Cowboys release RB T.Choice

'If Choice clears waivers, the team will then reach an injury settlement with him.

The move was made to clear a roster spot for rookie linebacker Bruce Carter, who is expected to make his pro debut Sunday night at Philadelphia.

Choice suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter against the St. Louis Rams last week and was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday before tightness in his hamstring kept him out of Friday's workout altogether. He underwent an MRI exam for the hamstring injury Friday.

A message on Choice's Twitter account indicated that his days with the Cowboys were done: "I just want to say thanks to all the great dallas cowboy fans. My time in Dallas has come to an end and the best is yet come. God bless."'

I think Choice has talent but there is something there that we dont know. Either he had issues with the coaching staff or something. He never got his chance IMO. They just threw him out there every once and a while for a play or two and never let him find his groove.

Either way, I wish him luck but the cowboys wont be any worse without him.

i'm sure it's a combo of bad rushing offensive line, bad running back, and bad play calling.

I was never really overly impressed with him. Felix Jones has been a dissapointment this year so far. Murray looked really good last week, gotta see it over the course of a couple games though, but Rams or Jets D 253 yards is 253 yards.

Sad to see Choice go, but Tanner looks very capable. Additionally, I'm excited to see Carter. He supposedly has incredible talent, and would have been a high first rounder ha he not been injured.

Choice had his flashes, but was as inconsistent as Felix.
