I bet he would lose 20lbs easily in a week or so as a pitcher for Texas.
He damn sure would have had a harder time putting the weight back on that he lost during the offseason. Still can't believe he put all that weight back on

And this is news from CJ. I figured him as good as gone, but this could be just lip service.
During a recent interview, Texas Rangers starting pitcher C.J. Wilson said, "we have a chance to be the premier American League team over the next few years if we keep things together."
Keeping things together in Texas likely begins with re-signing the 30-year-old left-hander who is expected to be one of the top available players when free agency begins on Thursday.
So, what are the Rangers' chances of bringing back the man who was the ace of their pitching staff during the regular season?
"There's a great chance because I like it here and I've won here," Wilson told ScoreboardDaily.com "I've proved that I can be a good pitcher here. There have been a lot of people over the years that have said it's impossible to pitch here in Texas and look what we did here on the rotation — we went out and won a bunch of games and threw a bunch of innings and did stuff that no other organization can say … not even the mighty Red Sox or Yankees. They didn't do what we did.
"It's now all about figuring out how all of the guys on the team — not just me — there's Elvis [Andrus], Nelson [Cruz], Josh [Hamilton], Ian [Kinsler] — a lot of guys have contractual things that are coming up. I think one thing the Rangers want me to know is what they're planning on doing with all of these other guys in the long term. So that gives me confidence that we're going to keep winning."
Wilson has won 31 games over the last two seasons and posted a career-high 206 strikeouts in 2011. However, his postseason numbers haven't been nearly as impressive. During the Rangers' previous two runs to the World Series, Wilson is 1-5 with a 4.82 ERA in the postseason.
But during the recent interview, Wilson sounded optimistic about what he has left in the tank.
"At 30, if I was a football player, you're pretty much towards the end," he said. "I'm kind of in the prime of my career right now and I feel like if I wanted to play for 12 more years, I could. That optimism is how I get better."
Wilson said that he has recently spoken with his agent about free agency. His agent's advice was to be patient because "nothing is going to happen for a while."
"There won't be a quick resolution so I guess it's good that I have other things to do," Wilson said.
On Tuesday, Wilson tweeted the following.
"We all have to be patient to see what happens- speculating does nothing but distract you from here+now. Thank you kindly Ranger Fans!"

Rangers ballpark will go under reconstruction from what I read earlier.Originally posted by talismanI wonder if there will be a new character that specializes in bjj and passive agressive comebacks?Originally posted by AdamLXIf there was, I wouldn't pick it because it would probably just keep leaving the game and then coming back like nothing happened.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyBecause fuck you, that's whyOriginally posted by 80coupenice dick, Idrivea4bangerOriginally posted by Rick Modena......and idrivea4banger is a real person.Originally posted by JesterMan ive always wanted to smoke a bowl with you.
