Its looking more and more like Fielder will be our big free-agency pickup. I dont really have a problem with this move. His already good numbers would prolly see a nice jump in the ballpark. Maybe we can use Moreland and some of our prospects as trade bait for a guy like James Shields or Gio Gonzalez(not likely as he is in the division). I dont know if King Felix is really an option as the Mariners dont really seem open to trading him.

Thats not that big of a loss, is it? Rangers have him figured out. I'm sure other teams do too.

I can't honestly answer that question. Don't really know enough about the guy other than he was one of the big free agents.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

He's 5-0 against Texas since 2004. He was 1-0 against them in the ALCS last year, and 2-0 this year.

I could have sworn the Rangers killed him in the ALCS last year. And they didn't play him in the ALCS this year.

I am still too hungover from Friday night to even contemplate what goes on next season.

The Yankees were 5-0 when he started, but I couldn't find where he actually got the wins.

They put up like 5 and ran him early in Game 1 of the ALCS last year, but the bullpen fell apart and he got a no-decision. Then he only allowed like 2 in Game 5 and got the win.

He was 2-0 against Texas this season, in 3 starts IIRC.

Rangers pound Sabathia but Yanks fight back to win ALCS Game 1

                    I knew I wasn't dreaming things up.

"This one hurt the most, since they led 3-0 after Josh Hamilton's homer in the first inning and knocked CC Sabathia out after four innings with a 5-0 lead." Rivera got the save, and Mosely got the win.

He did get the W against CJ in game 5.

I'm not saying he's the best of the best, but he's the kind of guy that could make a big difference in a rotation like Texas has.

Well since he's no longer available, who do you think is next?

I wonder if Kevin Brown is still available.

Can you imagine how much sweat his fat ass would have pouring down his face when pitching at home in the summer?

I bet he would lose 20lbs easily in a week or so as a pitcher for Texas.

CJ said it, and I am going to say it.

                                Bring Nolan back in.

I think we have a strong team, we need more Cruz missile's
