    Fixed.

What other options do the Rangers have? Sure King Felix will be available via trade but that won't happen until the All-Star break.

Read a rumor the Nationals are interested in CJ. His value took a pretty sharp hit I bet. He had a nice season, but tanked it in postseason as everyone saw.

Feliz needs to be spokesman for Tums. Needs to work on secondary pitch big time. Ogando is just worn out I think. Most innings he has ever thrown and it really started to show with his command.

Wonder how much of a factor Texas will be in the Prince Fielder race. PooHoles will want too much (another A-Rod deal).

      Also, the usual, pitching pitching....
      Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

Don't know about Fielder, but the Rangers problem has always been reliable pitching when it really counts. Until we find a true ace and a closer with a killer instinct, the Rangers will never get over the hump. I know it's like beating a dead horse, but it is the reality they have to live with.

Picking up Oswalt and Lidge for the right price would help. The concern with Oswalt though is his back but I bet he would like to play for a Championship back in Texas. Getting CC won't happen so the Rangers are going to have to build their pitching around 1A's.

The biggest problem that the Rangers have is their stadium as mentioned earlier, however it is the fact that they have to play 4 months in scorching temperatures which takes its toll on the whole team.

Akinori Otsuka was a good closer in 2006 and Chan Ho Park is Korean. Koji is washed up and we lost Hunter for him, a sad deal. Tateyama was fairly effective this year, he's the same age as Koji but he doesn't rely on a weak fast ball to get outs. He's no Mike Adams but I'd much rather see him in the game than old ass Oliver.

I say we offer boat loads of cash to Sabathia, the Yankees have until Monday to convince him not to opt out. Otherwise he'll be available for Cliff Lee money. If nothing else make the Yankees pay more for him to take away from their other free agent signings.

Heath Bell is available, he's a rock solid closer. Feliz did a good job but sure scared me a lot this year.

Then of course you have Pujols and Fielder on the market. I'd love to see Pujols in a Ranger's uniform but I can't see us paying $25 million for him, Fielder won't be much cheaper and I see him as a cancer. We've already seen what Milton Bradley, Francisco and Padilla can do to a team. We don't need a big money free agent starting fights in the dugout.

Yeah but you wouldn't know it based on this series. At one point I counted 13 straight fast balls from Feliz in Game 6.

Yeah Feliz choked, but he is also like 24 years old. His other pitches will develop and as they do so will his confidence and "killer instinct". He showed flashes throughout the postseason throwing consistently over 100. That last game of the world series he was in the mid-upper 90's so his obviously was a little overwhelmed. My how quick some of us are to jump off the bandwagon of the Rookie of the Year last year. Feliz will be a great closer for years to come, we still have not seen the best of him! Great players dont just appear overnight, they have to develop.

Yeah he is wanting big big money for sure. I dont know what St Louis payroll is but I would imagine it is close to the Rangers. No Florida Marlins that is for sure, so for him to be to rich for there blood it would have to be quite a bit.

I did not realize he was so young. The opposing players sit on his fastball, and that spells trouble. I really like his upside, but he was def overwhelmed in that situation. I bet if he could go back in time he would go up and in instead of low and away. I can't imagine anyone hitting an up and in 98 mph fastball.
