I haven't looked at the FA list for this off-season, but we need an ace. I've heard CJ Wilson will be the most sought after FA pitcher this winter, and if that's the case, then we're in trouble. Keep Holland and Lewis and build the rotation around them and one other star.
I don't know what to do about the bull pen. I would say blow it up and start from scratch, but who do you bring in that you know will be better? We had one of the best bull pens in the league, they just happened to choke when it mattered. One thing that needs to happen though, is Feliz and Ogando need to get a second go-to pitch to compliment the fast ball. Both pitchers are tough to hit when you see them every once in a while, but when you see them 7 games in a row, it's easy to realize they have one pitch.
The lineup is solid. I would say get rid of Michael Young, but even though he's horrible in the field, he's pretty invaluable that he can play any infield position.
This series was won and lost with pitching and managing decisions. Until you fix those, history will repeat itself.

Still havent decided on Moreland yet, obviously if we get a guy like Pujols or Fielder then he is prolly gone. I would like another year to see if he can have entire season like he had the first half of this one, but the entire last month or so of the season and playoffs he looked literally lost at the plate.
Despite our great lineup, playing NL rules made it painfully obvious that our hitting depth outside of the starting lineup needs a boost. I dont think we had a single pinch hitter get a hit the entire series. So I would like to see a little more bench depth added.

How about some sort of mild redesign of the ballpark to make it to where pitchers actually want to come here? Having a 500 foot wall is apparently within the rules, why not build a huge wall out in right of bullet proof glass or something lol.How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Right now I say CJ is gone. He isnt an ace and honestly I cant stand his fucking cocky additude. We need to make our starting rotation better. I thought that was the main issue even when the season started and during the season it actually turned out well. But the playoffs showed that we need better pitchers. Our bullpen is fine, just whatever they had against Detriot and Tampa Bay they didnt have against the Cardinals. Dont give up on Uharea, he could turn it around. But right now, we need starting pitching. Maybe Ogando can be better than he was last year, it seemed the first half of the year he was great but then tampered off. Probably because he wasn't used to being a fulltime started. Also someone needs to teach Feliz to be more relaxed and consistent. If he cant then make him a starter or make him a setup guy. I love the guy, but hate him at the same timeLos Angeles Rams 11-5

CJ is gone. Jon Daniels will let another team overpay for is services. As for who will replace him? Check out Yu Darvish from Japan. I'm not saying he will be the next Cliff Lee against major league hitters but he's worth a look. The Rangers cant leave the rotation the way it is now. BTW, Uehara was not released. He was deactivated for the World Series. He's under contract for next season along with Mike Adams.2015 Premium GT (50th Anniversary Package)

Obviously the Rangers need more than 2 reliable starters, but there really aren't many established free agent starters available. I don't think Feliz has the mental fortitude to pitch under pressure. I would start with these two issues and go from there. That's not the only reason the Rangers lost, but they are two of the most glaring issues.
