You give more credit to the guy that made one right hire, than the guy that built the team, kept them in line, and made them champions? Not saying Jones wasn't an important part of it, but Johnson was a much, much bigger part of it.

From a football persepective, yes Jimmy was the reason they built that team. Yes, I acknowledge Jerry is responsible for getting Jimmy, and writing the checks. I don't acknowledge he played any part in building the personel that team had. He did what Jimmy told him to, and Jimmy delivered 3 SBs. I am not saying Jerry was incompetent, he had foresight and the balls to let Landry go, take a coach out of college and stick with him after a 1-15 season.
