They still get 8 pitches between innings to get loose, but it's not enough time to go from cold to warm.

Im not a Cowboys fan but I dont see myself as a hater. I just call it like I see it. The only time I really hated Dallas was when they had Terrell Owens cause I hate him. I hate the team that he plays for at that time.

I talked to a Ford engineer from Dearborn last Friday, as I was nicely ragging on him about his Tigers, stated how Buck and Company seemed so pro- Detroit. He said most of his buddies thought the opposite.

I guess with only two teams to talk about they have to try and be 50/50 and throw in Yankees somehow.

I just hope Buck does not do the next Cows game after the WS is over. Need time away from him.

When Holland is hot and in a groove he can get out the best lineups in baseball, 4 CG shutouts does not happen as a fluke. The kid is good but is young and still a little immature and throws a rotten egg now and then.

He is a 24 year old KID be glad he did what he did the another night with a little strike zone assistance . And GREAT plays by the infielders

Don't you want to see him improve in 2012 and beyond , why would you want to strap him with losing the WLS for the rest of his life .

This "kid" is a major league baseball player, he will step up when his name is called and do his job. And generally when pitching a shutout it takes great defense and a little strike zone assistance(that went both ways).

Holland threw 116 pitches, and has never pitched on short rest. I wouldn't even consider starting him. I'm sure he'll be avaliable out of the pen though.

When I orginially started this debate I thought he would be on full rest. Thats what I get for trusting what I read in an ESPN article haha. While I still think he would be a better option that Harrison, on short rest give it to Harrison with a SHORT leash and have Holland ready to go in the bullpen
