Anyone else think CJ has pitched his way out of another offer from the Rangers? He's really fucked himself, as the amount seemingly lowers with every pitch he throws.

The question then becomes, what options do they legitimately have for an ace? I saw the list of who will be available, but who out of those do they really have a chance at landing? Even if CJ were to stay, he's not a true ace in my know nothing opinion.

Wilson is still a decent pitcher, and he did play a big part in getting them to the playoffs. He should get a nice contract, but he won't be getting ace money. Or he shouldn't at least, but that doesn't mean there isn't a GM out there dumb enough to do it.

I really don't blame him for last night. This line-up has got to produce more than 2 runs, and that pisses me off more than him giving up a couple.

He gave up 3, though

Well I just about called it right. Seems like every time those two are up, it's a guaranteed ground out for both. Aside from game 6 of the ALDS, I can't remember when the the top of the order actually did something worthwhile.

Baseball 101 - you never make the first or last out at home, especially when you have the tying run on third base with nobody out and your 3-4-5 hitters coming up.

I didn't say THIS game was boring, I was making an assumpition on baseball as a whole, I guess everyone here watches all 162 games of their favorite teams. Yeah right, I've already stated that Football is my game, both college and pro, I have the NFL ticket and watch most all games while flipping back and forth on the ticket channel. I actually have a better time watching all other teams than my beloved Boy's, they give me a heartache most times, but I'll watch til the end.
