  • I think the last time this has happened in a World Series where the visiting team had the chance to close it out in Game 6 and was leading late was the San Fran Giants in 2002 against the Angels.

    • Does anyone know where their charter plane will arrive? Regardless of the outcome I'd like to welcome them back to DFW.

      • So do we have any definitive answer on whether Cruz and Napoli are going to be playing Game 7?

San Fran played the Angels in the 2002 WS. with the Angels winning. I'm not sure who had home field advantage.

As expected. Carpenter is historically slow to warm up in the mound, hopefully we can capitalize early and break them.

                      • Joe Torre and Tony La Russa are pricks to the nth degree. Wouldn't mind seeing either drop dead from an aneurysm sometime this evening.

Relax, you righteous jerks, I'm just kidding about the death thing.

                        • Interesting stat on pitchers with 3 days rest in the play-offs: since '05, they are 6-10.

                              both are expected to play/start.
nothing is confirmed yet though, but all reports and even washington said it wasn't serious this morning.
