Peyton wanted to join, but he likes to look em in the eye when he's being ridden like a thoroughbred. Sadly, his neck injury has him on the IR.

Man this will be a tough game for me to watch. I've always followed the Cowboys since the 90's but became a fan of the Patriots since the Drew Bledsoe/Curtis Martin era; I'm only 30. The Patriots have always been my #1 team followed by The Cowboys. They have been my favorite teams over the years. If the Patriots win, I'm going to be pissed at Dallas. If Dallas wins, I'm going to be pissed at New England. I might die of a heart attack this weekend.

Jason Witten is prolly the toughest man in the NFL and is a beast, Laurent Robinson could be the #3 we have been looking for for a long time. All of this SHOULD make for plenty of points for the good guys.

I see no one on our defense that can stop welker, I think Sean Lee can shut down one of their TE's but who will cover the other? Not worried about Ocho, but Branch has shown flashes of his younger days during a few games this year. All of this will prolly equal plenty of points for the bad guys.

I think the last team to score will win
True about all those guys being really good but ur missing the most important thing, Romo SUCKS

Talented receivers can make a QB look better than he really is. Much like a talented QB can make receivers look better than they really are (see:Peyton Manning and the Colts).

I still say Romo doesn't SUCK. And I still say there are +/- 15 teams that would love to have him right now. He makes mistakes, as all QBs do. The problem he has, that is becoming more apparent with each week, is that he can't bounce back and start fresh after making a mistake. It fucks with his mind, then begins a downward spiral.

Initial thoughts on this game, were that it was going to be a shootout. Brady and crew are talented, no doubt. But they are facing the #2 defense in the NFL (still feels funny saying/reading/hearing that). I'm not so sure it will be the shootout everyone thinks it will be. I'm picking Cowboys to win it. And just to prove that's not a homer pick, I picked the Lions to beat the Cowboys two weeks ago.

But he is not Tom Brady, so there is no point in saying he is good.

When Romo is playing good, he is damn good and I would even say right up there with Brady but like Bcoop said, as soon as he makes that first mistake the odds of him bouncing back are slim. Hence, the romo-coaster.

I predict our defense will put a big dent in the Pat's offense. Between the talent we have and Rob Ryan who has a track record of being able to hold Brady back, we have a great chance.

Of course all this is assuming Romo doesnt have one of his meltdowns.

The frustrating thing, is that he hasn't always been that way. You can refer to the Buffalo game a few years back. He fucked up so many times, but he repeatedly bounced back, and was clutch when it mattered.

                              Patriots - over 30
                              Cowboys - not so much.

                                Pats - 31
Going to agree on this being very close to what the ending will be. Romo is going to use Deion's comments as a motivator and minimize the mistakes to win this game.
