Nelson Cruz finished the Rangers' scoring with a two-run home run in the seventh. That gave him six home runs and 13 RBIs in the series, setting new Major League records for both in a single postseason series.

He acts as if DFW is the only town with fair-weather fans. EVERY other teams has JUST AS MANY fair-weather fans. He's just so stupid, or blind, that he refuses to acknowledge it. I've been in several other major metros for football games, basketball games, etc. It's no more prevalent in DFW than it is in every other city I've been to.


And Georgia - if you hate DFW so much, TY motherfucking A.

I'll be honest, I am a Football fan, both college and NFL. I don't keep up with baseball, B-Ball or Hockey until after the All Star breaks. And baseball, well it something about the long as games on TV that I just can't bear. Though I still go to a few Ranger games a year no matter what or how they are doing every year. AND I do suoupport our local teams no matter what anyone has to say, if that makes me a fairweather fan then so be it...

There is a difference between fair weather and new fans. I think the Rangers have gained a LOT of new fans for life over the last couple of years. And as for fair weather fans, they bring in plenty of revenue for the team every year so the more the merrier
