    • Well I understand why Warsh didnt put in his bullpen. We need our starters to go 6 innings for the rest of the way

Lol, no one is giving away a game and how does throwing a game help recover the bullpen.
The majority of then bullpen from yesterday simply isn't available today. You have to win with who you have.

We are losing bc fister has been really good and Colby fell apart.

        • I would also like to point out, I hate having to watch this with Joe Buck and that other guy.

            Same thing, just worded differently.

Fister really killed the middle of our lineup. I think we can beat him. He just had our number tonight.

              • Why is Young so bad in the postseason?

                  • I know we can't win them all, but I expected a better showing from our 4-5-6 hitters. I did also call Rangers in 6, so I knew it wouldn't be a sweep. We get another crack at them at 3 tomorrow.

                    • So much for Young being worth a shit out of the DH position.

                      • Beltre should have been out icing down his knee after that foul shot. He was in obvious pain with every swing and wasn't helpng the team. He's no good at 3rd if he can barely stand, let alone move to make a throw.

Should have moved Young to 3rd and bring in Moreland at 1st.

And after Victor Martinez strained his oblique - he should never have walked. Pitch him tough and make him swing! Let their injured list grow some more.

                        • Our meat part of the lineup didnt do well, but I think they will be better tomorrow. Give Fister credit he really pitched well for the Tigers. We need our starters to go 6-7 innings so that way our bullpen dosent get worn out. Also am I the only one that would consider Feldman pitching as a starter and moving Holland back to the bullpen?

I hate to get down on him too much, but Young is hitting well under .100 in this post-season. Hopefully, he'll turn it around starting today, and carry it through the series.

As mentioned already, I was a little surprised at some of Lewis' pitching choices. Didn't he have Cabrera (I think) at an 0-2 count, then threw a waist-high ball a little outside that was driven down the right field line? Why give a good hitter anything at all at that pitch count? Then (as Chevelle John mentioned) comes Martinez, who is obviously hurt, and you walk him?

Hopefully, just an off night and they'll be back today.

Yea, that walk made me furious. Either the Rangers had no idea Martinez was hurt, or Colby just couldn't get a pitch down the middle. I have to think Martinez can't swing a bat right now and couldn't when he was up to bat. He didn't even hint at swinging during that at bat. He just let Colby throw whatever he wanted.

We better not see Uehara again. I am done with that loser.

It is obvoius to me we have two bullpens. Our real bullpen, lets call them the A team. Ogando, Gonzalez, Adams, and Feliz. They come in when we really need them. And then we have the C squad. Uehara, O'day, and Oliver. It was obvious Ron wanted the A squad to get some rest for the rest of the serious.

Absoulutely, although I think Gonzalez is on the B team. Ogando, Adams, Feldman (who hopefully will start again next year and pitch like game 2), and Feliz are the A team. The rest are scrubs.
