4-1 against a bunch of scrubs. You know the answer to that. And to be clear, OU is in the same boat. Sure, they are undefeated, but it's against a bunch of scrubs, Mizzou being the only exception (and even then, only because it's a divisional rival). I just think UT is that much worse than OU this year.
Hey, at least they aren't stuck with Gilbert anymore. Because if he were playing it would be a whole lot worse than it would be with one of the other two.

But, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.

I was pulling for Gilbert to be the starter the whole year

You are too stupied and arrogant
I want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

MUCH worse? I don't know about that
Against my better thinking, i'm going OUsucks 27 Texas 17
I'm thinking a lot worse than a 10 point spread after watching both these teams. I'm so happy "the Gilbert Experiment" is done, I can live with whatever happens this season. At least UCLA and Iowa St. were wins this year. I hate to disagree with BERT, but I'm feeling 35-17.
The spread has climbed from 8 to 9.5, looks like everyone is pounding OU.
I saw on the news there was a chance of rain, but its suppose to be later in the day.
quotes and notes:
OU receiver Ryan Broyles: “They're playing better. They have great athletes, a great coaching staff. Last year was a down year for them. I haven't watched any film on them yet, but they're undefeated. They're doing something right.”
OU safety Tony Jefferson: “We know they're a different team than last year. They're going to give us their all. They got better. But we've also gotten better. It's going to be great. Two undefeated teams. Two rivals. Fifty-fifty halved up in that stadium. We're looking to rock the place.”
OU linebacker Tom Wort: “We're looking at bigger things. Playing Texas is one of those bigger things.”
OU defensive coordinator Brent Venables: “It'll be a great challenge for us, one that we're really excited about. And I know Texas will be looking forward to the stage. It's a fabulous stage to play a college football game.”
Texas coach Mack Brown on facing OU and OSU back-to-back. “The next two weeks we play two of the top five teams in the country. That'll tell a lot about who we are.”
EXPERIENCE MATTERS
Texas sophomore Case McCoy will make his first OU-Texas start. The Sooners counter with junior Landry Jones, who started last year and came off the bench two years ago when Sam Bradford was injured.
The past two decades first-year starting quarterbacks are 2-8-1 going against a quarterback that's started the Red River Rivalry.
The two exceptions:
In 1996, OU, led by first-time starter Justin Fuente, defeated Texas, led by James Brown.
In 2001, the Sooners, led by Nate Hybl, with relief help from Jason White, defeated Texas, led by Chris Simms.
The tie was 1995 — OU (Eric Moore) and James Brown (Texas).
GAMEDAY IN DALLAS
For the fifth time, ESPN's GameDay crew will be at the Texas State Fair.
The other previous GameDay Cotton Bowl appearances were 2001, 2002, 2008 and 2009.
Texas won in '08 and '09. The Sooners won in '01 and '02.
No. 12: Travis Lewis gets Austin Box's jersey for Texas game
Don't be surprised Saturday at the Cotton Bowl when Oklahoma linebacker Travis Lewis is wearing No. 12, in honor of late teammate Austin Box.
Lewis, who returned from a foot injury Sept. 17 against Florida State, has been saving No. 12 for a special date. The Red River Rivalry game was a favorite on the schedule for Box, the Enid native who died May 19.

I know you just hated doing that. The key will be if Texas can pressure Jones. If they can keep pressure on him for most of the game, they'll have a chance.
Kick coverage also has to get better, damn they suck at that right now.

It kills me, but stranger things have happened, and OU does NOT look invincible by any means. UT still lacks offensive weapons (though raw talent seems to be there) to stack up to a top 5 team, and that secondary still scares the shit outta me. I've never seen someone as hot-and-cold as Gideon. He's very erratic back there.
