Or how about that Chris Davis was the guy who started the Baltimore rally against Boston in the bottom of the 9th with a double...

Why did the starting pitcher go only 2 innings - and he gave up no runs? Why didn't he go longer? Or better yet, why did the Yankees send 11 pitchers to the mound and none of them were named Rivera? He could have came on in the bottom of the 8th while the Rays were busy scoring 6 runs and it would have been a save situation.Originally posted by mustang_marc View PostNope...but Pedro Strop did. Feldman maybe?

Last night was just a great night for baseball. It seemed like Boston was going to win last night and Tampa was going to be out of it. Then in an hour it went from Boston completely winning to choking and Longoria and the Ray winning it in the 12th Inning last night.Los Angeles Rams 11-5
Last Game - Loss vs. San Fransisco
Up Next - vs. Atlanta

I wonder if the Red Sox GM or Manager will either be fired because of this collapse. I heard on the radio this morning that Red Sox GM Theo Epstien might resign and go to the Chicago Cubs. I laugh at them, they spent all of the offseason spending money to Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez and they didnt even make the playoffs. Adrian Gonzalez at least held up his end of the deal. Crawford started off in a slump and was either hot or cold all year.Los Angeles Rams 11-5

The Yankees DID NOT try and win that game last night. If you're tying to win, you don't pitch 11 pitches where you ask "who the fuck is that?" and you also don't pull what little starters you were playing in the 6th or 7th inning. That is not trying to win a ballgame, sorry.
