I was excited about this game even though I expected the Cowboys to get blown out. I'm no fair weather fan either!!! I'll support my 'Boys come hell or high water, but even I was sitting around the house dumbfounded by this game!!! They led the whole game until the last 27 seconds of the 4th quarter! I had already written this year off as a rebuilding year, but maybe they are going to prove me wrong!!!!

If it wasn't for all the injuries tonight, then I definitely could have seen them pulling this out despite some of the turnovers. Dez is going to be a horse if he can stay healthy! I haven't looked to see what has been said tonight, but you could tell he wasn't going 100% in the 2nd half. I think we may end up doing quite a bit better than expected.

The Jets have a great defense and we were able to pick them apart at times. I think by the end of the season, our offensive line is going to be top notch too! They did hell a job tonight!!!

I agree, O line did pretty good for 3 of them having 1 combined start.
Overall I was fairly happy with our D line, not so much the secondary (no surprise there though).
The guy next to Phillips (55 I think) screwed us on that punt, stepped the wrong way.
They should have left Dez off the field, he had nothing left in the last quarter.
IMO Romo needs to play a little smarter, I think he made a couple of bad decisions that ended up costing us. Its not all on him obviously, but he definitely has some things to work on.

I'm sure glad Scandrick got that big contract, so he could ride the pine for the next month (at least). Newman needs to get his ass on the field, or be cut. I get the feeling Jenkins has been told the same, due to some comments Jerry made right after the cut. He played hurt, but I feel it was done under pressure from mgmt. Then he went down at least twice, and came back both times. Also under pressure from mgmt, is my gut feeling.


I also heard that all these extensions, and restructured deals, has the Cowboys around $20 million under the cap. I wonder what move Jerruh is poising for. For those that aren't aware, Witten got an extension deal yesterday.

I really like watching the new defense. All the blitzes coming from everywhere is exciting football to watch. Yes, secondary needs improvement. Hopefully when Jenkins gets to full speed, and Newman is back, that will help. They aren't complete game changers, but they are better than most.

The boys played a great game with what they had to work with. I just don't understand why Romo hasn't learned to put TWO FUCKING HANDS on the ball when going down. I would have loved to see what tanner could have done on the 1 or 2 where romo fumbled. They better have a short memory and look forward to another tough road game.
