P.Manning out indefinitely. Need FFL advise.

I took a gamble in the draft and left myself with Colt McCoy as a backup. I'm thinking of picking up Collins because of the weapons Indy has, but this would mean me dropping someone on the bench. Here are my candidates to drop: Johnny Knox WR, Lance Moore WR, Daniel Thomas RB, Piere Thomas RB, Antonio Brown WR, CJ Spiller RB, Deji Karim WR (MJD Handcuff). The FA QB's are R.Fitzpatrick, M.Sanchez, D.Mcnabb, & D.Garrard.

Given the FA, would you just roll with Colt or pick up another QB? If so, who is the most drop worthy. TIA.

McNabb or Sanchez. Don't roll with Colt. Cleveland is a run first team. I'd drop Pierre Thomas. I never pick Saints players, because they spread the ball too much.

yea im in the same boat, I got Manning like 4 weeks ago before I knew about the neck injury.

McNabb or Sanchez. Don't roll with Colt. Cleveland is a run first team. I'd drop Pierre Thomas. I never pick Saints players, because they spread the ball too much.

Sanchez put up a bunch of points for me last year, but no consistency.

You're going to have to play the matchups... Colt isn't a bad start in week 1 against a week Cincy team that lost its best DB in FA. Just pick the QB playing the worst defense week to week. Nobody is going to be licking their chops to pounce on Colt if he hits FA.

Just bench him. You don't have to completely drop him... yet.

I am since he hasn't really practiced. Some folks are speculating a couple of weeks.

I plan on keeping Colt for now. He had a decent preseason in their new west cost offense which is looking to pass first. Problem with that is his receivers. Collins has an upside based on the Indy WR core. They will get open unlike the boys in TN. The problem Collins is gonna face is the blitz and coverage packages since Indy has no run game. I like Mcnabb, but his accruacy on the long ball is gone. P.Harvin is the only WR threat the Vikes have so I expect other teams to load up against Peterson. All three of these guys have an upside so it kinda depends on their opponents. I might play Colt this week and pick up either Collins or Mcnabb heading into week two. I'm not a fan of Sanchez but I will keep an eye on him depending on how he does against the boys.

Ours was 28 August. Unfortunately, it was 0230 my time, so I was SOL and was at the hands of the autopick. Fortunately, my picks weren't all that bad, but I could have done a lot better.
