Its probably safe to say Im most likely the only Rams fan on here, and probably one of maybe 10 people in DFW thats a Rams fan. BTW papapepper started this with his team so I'll go ahead and do mine.

I think this is the first time in a long time I'm excited about the upcoming year. For the last 3-4 years its been kinda hard to be excited about the upcoming season cause I kinda knew what was gonna happen for next year, we're gonna be bad. Even last year I wasn't really excited about the upcoming season even with drafting Sam Bradford cause I didnt really see us winning more than 5 games.

This year though I'm excited, we've done a good job in the draft and in free agency in getting guys that can make our team better. In the draft we drafted Robert Quinn in the 1st Round and TE Lance Kendricks who will make both our offense and defense better. In free agency we lost Safety Atogwe, but signed Safety Qunton Mickell from the Eagles. Mickell and Spagnolu have worked together in Philadelphia. Also on defense we signed Ben Leber who is just another piece that we need on D.

On offense we signed WR - Mike Sims-Walker, who will give Bradford a big target and potentially a deep threat. Walker has had two good seasons in Jacksonville. Signed RB's Jerious Norwood and Cadillac Williams who willbe behind Steven Jackson. Yes both of those guys have been injury prone, but that came while they was a started. Here they'll be asked to come in on 3rd down situations and on plays like screens or swing plays. I think this is the best depth we've had at the RB position since drafting Jackson when we also had Marshall Faulk. Also signed Lineman Harvey Dahl which will help protect Bradford.

On defense I still think there are areas that we need to work on. Things like the secondary and the pass rush. I like what we have on offense. Our depth chart being this.

    WR 1 - Sims-Walker
    WR 2 - Donnie Avery
    WR 3 - Danny Amendola
If Mark Clayton can get back to 100 percent it will make it even better, he and Bradford had great chemistry before Clayton got an injured knee.

    RB 1 - Steven Jackson
    RB 2 - Cadillac Williams
    RB 3 - Jerious Norwood

Last year we finished 7-9, this year I think we can be around 8-8. Being that our division is soft and weak, that could make the playoffs.

Edit: You've got a lot to be optimistic about though. From the preview I saw of Sam Bradford last year he is the real deal.

BTW just looked at our schedule and its both hard and easy. The first half of the season is going to be hard with games against Eagles, Giants, Ravens, Redskins, Cowboys, Packers, and Saints. I think if we can find a way to win 2 or 3 games in that stretch then Im okay with that. The 2nd half is going to be the easy part. Playing against Arizona twice, Seattle twice, San Fran twice, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh in Week 16. If we can win 8 out of those then thats 10-6. Its possible when you look how weak our division is, and when you look at cleveland and cincinnati who have struggled lately. We play the Steelers late, maybe if they are rolling they will rest some of their players.

I know its preseason and I know its against the Colts without Manning starting but winning 33-10 was a good win. Bradford played much of the first half, and Jackson didnt play but it seemed that the new offense with McDaniels was really clicking. I like our new Rookie TE Lance Kendricks from Wisconsin looked really good as well. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come
