Not surprising. You're as dumb as a bucket of hammers.
Originally posted by bcoop View PostBarber, Davis, and Columbo were released by Dallas per Adam Schefter. I guess that's a good sign for Free. It's a good thing Smashburger is going well for Davis and Columbo. lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if they try to re-sign one of the two OL.Originally posted by bcoop View PostNow there are rumblings that they misreported Columbo... I'd like to see a few more cuts, personally.Originally posted by bcoop View PostSchefter just tweeted that Roy has been notified, he's a goner.Originally posted by bcoop View PostCowboys cut Kris Brown. Makes sense. They signed a kicker (possibly two) yesterday. So if he wants him, and can find a way to make it work financially, there is no doubt in my mind that he will get him.
I can see Rob Ryan whispering in Jerrys ear though. It will take ALOT of work though with the cap.
What happens if Jerry goes over the cap? Can the NFL call the contracts void or will they have to carry that into next years cap or what? Im sure Jerry made sure there was some loop holes he could exploit in that cap ceiling somewhere.

Ahh, just rumor mill crap then. All the cuts to this point, were to get them down near the cap. As they were $17 million over before ever even heading to training camp. And of course, there are still current players they have to re-sign, plus needs to address in free agency. That's all that was, a money move. There is a recap above of what each player cost, and saved them on the salary cap. You have to remember, they decreased the salary cap from last year's amount. First time in NFL history that has happened. So everyone that was close to the cap last year will have a little of this work to do.

I dont know if this has been stated already, but this is what I have read and found out through the day.
The Redskins agree to trade Donovan McNabb to the Vikings in exchange for a 6th Round pick in 2012 and possibly in 2013. This deal also hinges on if McNabb accepts a new deal that is less money.
Seattle is interested in Vikings WR Sidney Rice.
49ers and Alex Smith have agreed to a new 1 year 5 million dollar deal.
The Seahawks have signed Tavaris Jackson who was previously with the Vikings.
Cowboys have cut Roy Williams, Marion Barber, Leonard Davis, Kris Brown, and likely Mark Columbo. Columbo could be back if he signs a new deal.
Takeo Spikes isnt staying with the 49ers, reportedly has a new deal with the San Diego Chargers.
Broncos are shopping Kyle Orton, Bengals, Vikings (not likely if the trade for McNabb goes through), Titans, Cardinals, Seahawks, Redskins, and Dolphins.
Nick Barnett isnt resigning with the Packers.
The Bengals have said that they aren't looking to trade Palmer, they are likely going to see and call Palmers retirement bluff.
Ravens have cut Derrick Mason, Willis McGahee, and Todd Heap.
Apparently the rumor that the trade between Cardinals and Eagles isn't a done deal, if it was a done deal it would've been done already.Los Angeles Rams 11-5
