Remember, even Manning sucked for a few years. They don't all come out of the womb with 100+ passer ratings.
Right, but I wouldn't trade a top player for him. Does he have potential yea I can say he does, and for a team like Arizona or San Fran then perhaps you need to trade for this guy cause they both really need a QB.

I didn't mean to imply he will bring top talent in a trade. He wont. But as an owner/manager, if go for him over every qb that was in the draft this year.

Wtf? He needs to sit down and re-evaluate what is important in life. Your health and being there for them wife and kids. He won't even remember who they are if he keeps playing football.

I dont think his wife really cares, she didnt do a thing during the whole scandal that Brett was in last year. I think she is there more cause of the money.

Hell I completely forgot about that whole ordeal last year. She obviously doesn't care because you'd think if they would have ever needed him home it'd be this year with all the bullshit that has happened.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if ESPN cooked this whole thing up.

Did it really feel like football with out a Bret Favre comeback in the headlines during offseason?

strike is over, nothing to talk about, so they have to do something

There is plenty to talk about though, even with the strike over. Details of the new CBA, what teams are going to make what moves, etc.

when that happened and she didnt leave or say anything it pretty much said that she was here for the money. Brett just needs to retire and leave it alone. Last year was a horrible year for him. He was clearly not the same QB that he was the year before, and his body got beaten up at the end of the year.

Being the Eagles fan that I am I can respectfully disagree. In games where Kolb actually started and finished the game he was rather impressive. He's won 2 NFC Player of the week's. He crushed an Atlanta team last year everyone was high on. In 2009 he was 3-1 or 2-1 in game she played in, I can't remember.

He just needs some game time, he's really smart, had a good arm, and is decently athletic. He gets a bit flustered if the rush is getting to him fast, but given some game time he'll get better at that.

I hope the Cardinals send Rodgers-Cromartie to the Eagles for Kolb, Eagles need some secondary help in a bad way.....

Even though it was a close game.... I can honestly say the Saints defense ended Favre's career. That season opener was brutal for him, he got hit so many times that defense was flying all over the place. Funny they knocked him out of the playoffs then pretty much ended his run the next year. LOL.

Didn't they just sign him to a new contract?
